From their site: "Hunger is a chronic condition in New Mexico, which currently ranks 3rd in childhood hunger and 7th in hunger overall. In Bernalillo County, 1 in 6 residents do not know where their next meal will come from. Since COVID, food insecurity among adults is projected to rise from 15.1% in 2018 to 18.7% in 2020. Childhood food insecurity is projected to rise from for 23.8% in 2018 to 30.8% in 2020. That is 1 in 3 kids in New Mexico will not have the security of knowing where their next meal is coming from. At RGFP, low-income households can pick up a week’s worth of food once a week at our safe, drive-through food distributions. We distribute frozen as well as fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products, frozen meats, beans and rice, breads and dry and canned goods."
